The goal is to highlight how good technical information creates added value and strengthens companies' competitiveness.
The Role of Technical Information in Corporate Digital Value Chains
How to gain control over the information chain in complex systems
Welcome to this BOTI webinar where we look beyond the screens and focus on the linear architecture behind an unbroken information chain—from the complex data source all the way to the end user.
During this hour, we will show you how to take control of the life cycle and how modern AI can become a powerful tool in the technical communicator's craft, rather than a replacement.
The webinar is led by Ulf Carlsson, who shares a unique engineering journey.
Ulf has worked with information chains where incorrect information has dire consequences—from being responsible for the maintenance and documentation of the Navy's torpedo weapon systems at FMV, to setting requirements for the Digital Information System (DIS) for the Visby-class corvettes based on SGML/XML, and later developing ISO10303 AP239 PLCS Product Life Cycle Support with the NATO CALS office.
Today, he is involved in the development and implementation of the new global semantic and ontology standards within ISO.
Tomorrow's market needs: How we transform our craft from static documentation to delivering personalized information in real time. As complex industrial systems become increasingly digitized, an urgent need arises to be able to navigate enormous amounts of data.
Here, the technical communicator has the unique ability to combine their expertise in understanding and meeting diverse user information needs through new standards, AI as a tool, and new methods that make information chains truly value-creating in near real-time between the right information provider and consumer.
